JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended lower by 0.3% Friday (October 25) to tracking regional market.
Net sell by foreign investors also dragged down the index to close at 4580. Telkom leads with 2.25% correction, while Timah and Bukit Asam down 3% and 1.5% respectively.
Charoen Pokphand lost 4.35% on profit taking as more than 19 million shares exchanged hands, while BTPN and XL Axiata down 3% and 2.8% respectively.
BCA, BNI, BRI, and Bank CIMB Niaga ended higher grounds, while Danamon lost 1.2%. Adaro Energy, Bumi Resources, Baan Resources, and Astra Agro Lestari also ended lower.
In the region, Nikkei 225 dropped 2.75%, while SSE Composite index lost 1.45%. Hang Seng and KOSPI dropped 0.6% each, while STI Index and S&P BSE Sensex slipped 0.39% and 0.2% respectively.
