JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Tiphone Mobile Indonesia Tbk (TELE) has purchased 35,999 shares of PT Perdana Mulia Makmur, located in North Jakarta, or 99.9% of its enlarged capital.
The acquisition is valued for Rp219.99 billion. Perdana Mulia is authorized distributor of Samsung. TELE had earlier acquired PT Mitra Telekomunikasi Selular, importer and distributor of iPhone.
TELE booked net profit of Rp129.3 billion in first half of this year, jumped 63% from Rp79.5 billion in the same period of last year.
Revenues increased 36% to Rp4.49 trillion from previous Rp3.30 trillion. Voucher sale reached Rp3.79 trillion, or 84% of total sales.
