SINGAPORE (Yosefardi) – For the 12 months to November 2013, Tigerair Singapore recorded a 20.6% year-on-year (y-o-y) increase in traffic to 8.9 billion revenue passenger-kilometres (RPK), while capacity increased by 22.9% to 11.0 billion available seat-kilometres (ASK).

Consequently, passenger load factor was 1.6 percentage points lower at 81.2%. The number of passengers carried grew by 17.3% to 4.8 million, compared to 4.1 million in the previous period.

For the month of November 2013, Tigerair Singapore recorded a 6.0% y-o-y increase in traffic to 764 million RPK, while capacity increased by 20.8% to 1,029 million ASK.

Consequently, y-o-y passenger load factor declined by 10.4 percentage points to 74.2%. The number of passengers carried grew by 8.7% y-o-y to 423,000.

Meanwhile, for the 12 months to November 2013, Tigerair Mandala recorded a 570.0% y-o-y increase in traffic to 2.4 billion RPK, while capacity increased by 500.2% to 3.2 billion ASK.

Consequently, passenger load factor was 7.9 percentage points higher at 75.5%. The number of passengers carried grew by 556.1% to 1.8 million, compared to 278,000 in the previous period.

For the month of November 2013, Tigerair Mandala recorded a 344.8% y-o-y increase in traffic to 258 million RPK, while capacity increased by 298.9% to 359 million ASK.

Consequently, y-o-y passenger load factor improved by 7.5 percentage points to 71.9%. The number of passengers carried grew by 343.9% y-o-y to 182,000.

In the same period, Tigerair Philippines recorded a 372.7% y-o-y increase in traffic to 1.3 billion RPK, while capacity increased by 274.1% to 1.7 billion ASK.

Consequently, passenger load factor was 16.2 percentage points higher at 77.7%. The number of passengers carried grew by 419.3% to 1.4 million, compared to 269,000 in the previous period.

For the month of November 2013, Tigerair Philippines recorded a 6.1% y-o-y increase in traffic to 105 million RPK, while capacity decreased by 11.7% to 136 million ASK.

Consequently, y-o-y passenger load factor improved by 12.9 percentage points to 77.2%. The number of passengers carried grew by 8.3% y-o-y to 104,000.
