SINGAPORE (Indonesia Today) – Tiger Airways Holdings Limited, partner of Saratoga in Mandala Airlines, recorded a 30% increase in passengers traffic carried by Tiger Singapore in October 2012, ahead of a 16% increase in capacity.

Consequently, y-o-y passenger load factor was 9 percentage point higher at 83%. The number of passengers carried grew 21% y-o-y to 367,000 passengers.

For the 12 months to October 2012, Tiger Singapore carried 4.0 million passengers, an increase of 14% y-o-y. Passengers load factor was 83%, versus 84% in the previous 12 months.

Tiger Australia, meanwhile, carried 218,000 passengers last month, rising 112% y-o-y. Passengers load factor, at 81%, reflected a decline of 3 percentage points over the previous year.

For the 12 months to October 2012, Tiger Australia carried 1.8 million passengers, a 22% fall compared to the preceding 12-month period, reflected a result of the reduced capacity and limited schedule. Passengers load factor of 82% was 2 percentage points lower y-o-y. (Indonesia Today)
