JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Thomas Trikasih Lembong has been sworn in as new Minister of Trade replacing Rachmat Gobel.
Thomas took his oath this afternoon (Aug. 12) in front of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo at the State Palace, Jakarta.
Thomas, a young businessman, is known as supporter of President Jokowi in the 2014 presidential election. He has reportedly a close relationship with the President.
Thomas obtained his bachelor degree from Harvard University, United States, in 1994. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.
