JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Tens of security officers from the House of Representatives’ internal security forces (Pamdal DPR) have guarded the courtroom of the DPR’s ethics council, Monday (Dec. 7) afternoon.
The security officers from the Pamdal DPR did not allow journalists to broadcast the trial and taking Setya Novanto’s photograph. They also did not allow TV Parlemen, a DPR’s internal television station, to broadcast the trial.
At the time of writing, the MKD leaders have their break time for 60 minutes. The trial will be started again at4:00 pm.
Initially, the MKD is scheduled to examine Novanto this morning at around 9:00 am over allegation of abusing his power by promising a favor to PT Freeport Indonesia. But Novanto asked the MKD to delay the trial to 1:00 pm. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.
