JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State telecommunication company PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) Tbk (TLKM) will pay dividend of Rp8.7 trillion for 2014 fiscal year, 60% of last year’s net profit of Rp14.64 trillion.
In 2013, Telkom paid dividend of Rp9.94 trillion or 70% of its net profit. Telkom allocates 25-30 trillion for capital expenditure (capex) for this year. Telkom allocates 60% of capex for its unit PT Telekomunikasi Seluler (Telkomsel) and 30% capex for broadband business.
It targets to book revenues of Rp100 trillion this year. In 2014, Telkom booked revenue of Rp89.7 trillion, grew by 8.1% from Rp83 trillion in 2013. Its assets rose 10.2% to Rp127.9 trillion.
Telkom also plans to expand to 3 countries after developing its business in 10 countries so far.
