JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) is seeking loan of Rp3-5 trillion to 4-5 local banks, used to support this year’s capital expenditure (capex).
The loan will have tenor of 5 years and expected to secure by end of first half of this year. Telkom sets capex of Rp20.5 trillion for this year’s capex, of which internal cash will fund 60-70% or Rp12.3-14.35 trillion.
By end of March this year, Telkom’s assets increased 2.4% to Rp130.47 trillion while liability declined 5.1% to Rp47.94 trillion. The company has cash and cash equivalent of Rp20.7 trillion.
It booked net profit of Rp5.19 trillion in first quarter (Q1) of this year, grew by 4.1% from Rp4.98 trillion in the same period of last year. Revenues increased 8.7% to Rp21.25 trillion from previous Rp19.55 trillion.
