JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Telecommunication giant Telkom (TLKM) has returned to fourth largest company on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) by market capitalization, while Adaro Energy (ADRO) dropped further to below Bayan Resources (BYAN).

Telkom gained 16% year-to-date to make a market cap of Rp211.7 trillion, fourth behind HM Sampoerna, Astra International, and Bank Central Asia. Astra lost 13.2% YTD, while BCA gained only 3.8%.

Completing the Top 10 are Unilever Indonesia, Bank Mandiri, Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Perusahaan Gas Negara, Semen Indonesia, and Gudang Garam.

In the meantime, second largest coal producer Adaro Energy (ADRO) dropped further to Rp25.3 trillion of market cap, smaller than Bayan Resources (Rp25.5 trillion), Bukit Asam , and Indo Tambangraya Megah.

Adaro lost 50.3% year-to-date, while Bayan down only 9.5%. Bukit Asam lost only 15.9%, while Indo Tambangraya collapsed 39.5%.
