JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The government expects revenues from tax collections would grow 14.1% to Rp1,310 trillion in the 2014 State Budget.

Higher tax revenues would boost tax ratio against GDP from 12.2% targeted this year to 12.6% next year.

“In a broader term, taking into account local tax and revenues from natural resources, the tax ratio would reach 15.5%,” president SBY said Friday (August 16).

In the revised 2013 State Budget, the government targeted to collect Rp1,148 trillion from tax.

Total State Revenue for 2014, meanwhile, is targeted to grow 10.7% to Rp1,662.5 trillion from Rp1502 trillion set in the revised 2013 Budget.
