SYDNEY (Yosefardi) – ASX-listed Kingsrose Mining Ltd expects gold production from its Talang Santo mine in Sumatra to double to 40,000 ounces per annum next year.
The company said development at Talang Santo mine on the Way Linggo project is on track with ore being stockpiled in preparation for recommencement of processing plant next month.
Kingsrose expects to produce approximately 3,000 ounces of gold in the December 2013 quarter.
“With operations ramping up, production is expected to total 20,000 ounces of gold for the current financial year ended June 2014. By July 2014, production rate is scheduled to be around 40,000 ounces of gold per annum,” the company said.
Other than Talang Santo, Kingsrose has also stepped up exploration of the Talang Samin prospect, located close to the Talang Santo mine.
