JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – HW, one of three suspects in corruption case surrounding the supply of condensates to PT Trans Pacific Petrochemical Indotama (TPPI), would fail to answer the call from the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Division (Bareskrim Polri) for questioning.
Director of Economy & Special Crimes at the Bareskrim Polri Brig. Gen. Victor E. Simanjuntak, as quoted by Kompas.com, explained that the Police actually expects to question HW tomorrow (May. 30). But the suspect, according to Victor, cannot fulfil Police’s call due to his illness. HW is reportedly at a hospital in Singapore for medical treatment.
So therefore, Victor said that the Police has rescheduled questioning session for HW early next week on Monday (Jun. 1).
As reported earlier, the Police has named three suspects in this case. They are DH, RP, and HW. The Police has also already questioned 30 witnesses in the case from the oil & gas regulatory task force (SKKMigas), the Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources (ESDM), and PT TPPI.
