JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA) allocate Rp700 billion for funding the expansion of its industrial area in Karawang, West Jawa, funded by internal cash.
The project will be handled by its unit PT Suryacipta Swadaya, made in three phases until 2015. The company expects its industrial area segment will contribute 30% of recurring income, compared to current 10%.
SSIA will boost investment in logistic distribution in the industrial area to Rp170 trillion next year from Rp150 trillion this year. Many foreign logistic distribution companies are interested to operate in SSIA’s industrial area. SSIA will build warehouses and standard factory in the area.
SSIA booked net profit of Rp530.47 billion in first nine months of this year, lower than Rp572.87 billion in the same period of last year. Operating income increased 26% to Rp3.35 trillion from previous Rp2.66 trillion.
Revenues from construction services reached Rp2.04 trillion, industrial area land Rp768.98 billion, hotel Rp416.29 billion, leasing, parking, maintenance services Rp109.17 billion, and real estate Rp15.21 billion.
