JAKARTA (Yosefardi.biz) – Cable manufacturing company PT Supreme Cable Manufacturing & C (SCCO) booked net profit of Rp37 billion in the first quarter of 2014, a 28.5% declined compared to the same period of 2014.
Revenues fell 19% to Rp800 billion and operating profit declined 19% to Rp62 billion. Its assets rose 5.8% to Rp1.75 trillion while liability increased 7% to Rp901 billion.
Its peers, PT Jembo Cable Company Tbk. (JECC) suffered loss of Rp1 billion and PT Kabelindo Murni Tbk (KBLM) booked 1 billion profit in the first quarter of this year.
Jembo Cable’s revenues fell 10.8% to Rp336 billion while Kabelindo’s revenues declined 12.5% to Rp235 billion. Jembo’s assets reached Rp1.13 trillion and Kabelindo’s assets was Rp628 billion. (rully@yosefardi.biz)
