JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Retailer PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya (AMRT) Tbk, which operates Alfamart convenience stores, booked net profit of Rp569 billion in 2013, grew by 18.3% from Rp481 billion in 2012.

Net revenue increased 28% to Rp34.89 trillion from previous Rp27.18 trillion. Food revenue totaled Rp24.6 trillion while non-food revenue was Rp10.29 trillion. Cost of goods sold also rose 25% to Rp28.58 trillion from earlier Rp22.79 trillion.

The company also recorded operating expenses of Rp5.37 trillion. Then profit from operation was Rp944.66 billion, a 34% rise compared to Rp703 billion in 2012.

Its assets totaled Rp10.96 trillion, increased 22% from Rp8.94 trillion in 2012. While liability amounted Rp8.36 trillion, grew by 47% from previous Rp5.69 trillion.

It has cash and cash equivalent of Rp604.68 billion. Meanwhile its equity declined 20% to Rp2.6 trillion from earlier Rp3.25 trillion. The company only got Rp465.67 billion additional paid-in capital in 2013, compared to Rp1.23 trillion in 2012.
