JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Forestry company PT Sumalindo Lestari Jaya (SULI) Tbk booked net profit of Rp16.7 billion in the first quarter of 2013 against net loss of Rp51.5 billion in the corresponding period of 2012.
Sumalindo’s sales revenue actually dropped substantially from Rp90 billion to Rp35.6 billion in the quarter, but it posted other revenues of Rp80.75 billion.
The company then posted operating profit of Rp39.8 billion against operating loss of Rp21.8 billion in Q1/12.
Sumalindo’s total assets, however, dropped further to Rp1.29 trillion, while capital deficiency declined to Rp29.7 billion.
