JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Six airline companies reportedly propose to postpone flights to some domestic routes due to operational cost problem, Bisnis Indonesia reported.
That six airliners are Sriwijaya Air, Lion Air, Kalstar, Tigerair Mandala, Garuda Indonesia, and Sky Aviation.
Sky Aviation has postponed flights for 18 routes since March 18, 2014 to May 31, 2014, for some routes in East Nusa Tenggara region and Sumatra (Batam, Palembang, Dumai).
Lion Air postones flights for 15 routes in May 31, 2014, for flights from Jakarta to Kupang, Surabaya, and Semarang.
Meanwhile, Sriwijaya postpones flights for 13 routes, Tigerair Mandala for 3 routes, Kalstar 2 routes, and Garuda for one route (Bima-Lombok).
