JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Singa field gas production in onshore Sumatra jumped 77% to 1,600 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the first half of 2013.
Lundin Petroleum AB, owner of 25.9% working interest in the block, said higher production was attributable to wellhead repairs at the block.
Singa field is the only oil and gas producing asset of Lundin Petroleum in Indonesia. The company’s other assets are located in the Natuna Sea but still in the exploration stage.
The exploration assets are Baronang/Cakalang, Gurita, South Sokang, and Cendrawasih.
