JAKARTA (Yosefadi) – PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Ybk (DSSA), unit of Sinar Mas Group, adds investment in power plant to US$300 million from initial Rp200 million.
The project, located in south of Sumatra, will run until 2015, consisting of captive power plants and IPP mine mouth power plants.
The company also mulls to build power plant with capacity of 2×50 megawatts in Kendari, southeast of Sulawesi with investment cost of US$100 million.
The project will be funded by bank loan (70%) and internal cash (30%). DSSA has secured loan of US$80 million from China Development Bank (CDB). Currently it has also secured loan facility commitment of US$318 million from CDB.
DSSA allocates capital expenditure (capex) of US$270 million for this year.
