JAKARTA (yOSEFARDI) – Plantation firm owned by Eka Tjipta Widjaja, PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk (SMAR), allocates capital expenditure (capex) of Rp1.3 trillion for this year, lower than Rp1.6 trillion capex of last year.

The capex, mostly used to fund the downstream business, will be funded by internal cash and bank loan.

SMAR will pay dividend of Rp28.7 billion or Rp10 per share for 2014 fiscal year. SMAR booked net profit of Rp1.47 trillion last year, jumped 65.2% compared to Rp892.5 billion in 2013.

Net sales also rose 35.1% to Rp32.34 trillion, from Rp23.93 trillion a year earlier. Its assets reached Rp21.29 trillion while liability amounted US$13.34 trillion.
