JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk (SILO) plans to issue 115.61 million new shares through preempive right scheme or right issue, representing 9.09% of its enlarged shares capital.
The proceeds of rights issue will be used to strengthen its capital structure and to fund its business development. Currently PT Megapratama Karya Persada holds 60.46% of SILO shares while public investors hold 39.54%.
SILO booked net profit of Rp60 billion in 2014, grew by 19%. Revenue rose 33.4% to Rp3.34 trillion. Net profit margin was 1.9% and operating profit margin reached 4%. Its assets reached Rp2.84 trillion while liability amounted Rp1.19 trillion.
Retailer PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT) also plans to issue 2.91 billion new shares, though private placement, representing 7.5% of its enlarged shares capital, targeting to raise Rp1.48 trillion proceeds.
