JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Industri Jamu Dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO), producing herbal medicine and engaged in pharmacy industry, had acquired pharmaceutical company PT Berlico Mulia Farma which has factory in Sleman, Yogyakarta, for Rp124.9 billion.
Berlico has produced 80 products including ethical, OTC, food supplement, and medicated herbal.
SIDO booked net profit of Rp239 billion in the first half of 2014, grew by 37.4% from Rp174.22 billion in the same period of 2013.
Revenues declined 1.7% to Rp1.12 trillion from previous Rp1.14 trillion. The company targets to book sales of Rp2.8 trillion this year.
