JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Vitalia Shesya, a sexy model for local men’s magazines, will present in the Jakarta Corruption Court as witness in the Monday’s trial of graft and money laundering cases related to the beef import quota under the Ministry of Agriculture.

Vitalia will give testimonies for the trial with defendant Ahmad Fathanah, who called as a close aide of former Chairman of Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Luthfi Hasan Ishaaq. She was summoned by the prosecutor team from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) related to money laundering practices allegedly committed by Fathanah.

As reported earlier, Vitalia has received Rp14 million and a Honda Jazz car from Frathanah. She has also admitted for receiving other luxurious diamond gifts from Fathanah worth Rp90 million.

Vitalia is not the only one of the so-called Fathanah’s women who has been summoned by KPK’s prosecutor team. Besides Vitalia, KPK’s prosecutor team also summoned actress Siti Khadijah Azhari aka Ayu Azhari, dangdut singer Tri Kurnia, and Fathanah’s wife Sefti Sanustika as witnesses in the case.

The beef import quota graft and money laundering case has dragged a lot of PKS leaders, including Luthfi Hasan Ishaaq, PKS patron leader Hilmi Aminuddin, PKS President Anis Matta and Suswono (PKS politician and Minister of Agriculture). The case has brought down the electability of PKS, the largest Muslim-based party in the House of Representatives (DPR), crashed into less than 3% as shown by various surveys.

However, in the latest trial, Hilmi Aminuddin’s son Ridwan Hakim, in his testimonies in the trial, disclosed the possible role of more influential individuals close to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in the case. Ridwan revealed that a close friend of President SBY, identified as Sengman Tjahja, played a role in the beef-import policy. The State Palace, meanwhile, denied Ridwan’s testimonies.
