JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Sentul City (BKSL) fell 6% in the opening hour of trading on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Wednesday, October 1st, after the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) named its CEO a bribery suspect.
Around 188 million shares were exchanged hands in the opening hour as the stock dropped to Rp95. The stock has collapsed from Rp220 in November 2012 to as low as Rp83 in June 2014, but then rallied closer to Rp140 in late July.
BW Plantation (BWPT), meanwhile, rallied further by 13.51% to Rp630 with 174 million shares exchanged hands in the opening hour.
Shares of BWPT collapsed from Rp1400 in May to as low as Rp405 last Friday. Yesterday the stock soared 20.62% with 348 million shares exchanged hands.
