JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – New management of state cement maker PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) under leadership of Suparni only targets 6-9% cement sales target for this year, far lower than 10% sales growth during last year.
SMGR targets to book cement sales of Rp25.9 trillion last year. Then it would reach cement sales of Rp27.7 trillion to Rp28.2 trillion this year.
The new management however targets to maintain SMGR’s market share at 43-44% this year.
SMGR also mulls to build new power plant with capacity of 200 megawatts (MW) in Tuban, East Java which costs Rp5-8 trillion.
At 10.24 am Jakarta time, SMGR gained 0.69% to Rp14,575 with over 4.76 million shares exchange hands. The stock has fallen 10% this month.
