JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Cement producer PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) mulls to seek loan of Rp600 billion, to fund the construction of its cement mill unit 2 (Baturaja 2) in South Sumatra which will cost Rp2.9 trillion.

The construction of this cement mill is targeted for late 2016 and will commence operation by early 2017.

This cement mill will hava capacity of 1.85 million tons per year, then to be expanded to 3.85 million tons thereafter.

SMBR targets its revenue to grow by minimum 10% next year and its Ebitda (earning before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization) to grow by 38%.

While cement sales is targeted to reach 1.75 tons next year, a 30% growth compared to this year.
