JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Plantation company PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS) booked net profit of Rp631.67 billion in 2013, grew by 12% from Rp561.69 billion in 2012. Earning per share (EPS) was Rp91.

Sales increased 4.4% to Rp1.96 trillion from previous Rp1.88 trillion. Cost of sales also rose 6.5% to Rp949.46 billion. Operating profit grew by 7.2% to Rp938.33 billion.

Its assets jumped 75% to Rp3.7 trillion while liability declined 16% to Rp1.38 trillion. It has cash and cash equivalent of Rp929.47 billion.

Meanwhile PT Tunas Baru Lampung Tbk (TBLA) recorded net profit of Rp86.55 billion in 2013, dropped 64.6% from Rp243.24 billion in 2012.

Revenue declined 2.6% to Rp3.7 trillion from previous Rp3.8 trillion. It suffered foreign exchange (forex) loss of Rp249.93 billion, widened from loss Rp91.42 billion in 2012.

Its assets increased 19.5% to Rp6.2 trillion and liability rose 28.3% to Rp4.4 trillion. It has cash and cash equivalent of Rp647.93 billion.

TBLA is a fully integrated producer of vegetable cooking oil and other vegetable oil derivatives.
