SINGAPORE (Yosefardi) – SATS’ Aviation carried 10.04 million passengers in the first quarter of 2015-2016 (April-June 2015), declined 6.1% from 10.69 million passengers in the corresponding period of 2014-2015.
Flights handled fell 9.1% to 30,150, from previous 388,390. Unit services handled declined 4.2% to 27,100 from earlier 28,300.
In the first quarter of FY2015-16, unit meals and gross meals recorded steady year-on-year growth, while cargo throughput increased marginally (0.4%).
Unit services, flights handled and passengers handled declined year-on-year due mainly to the loss of Jetstar Asia account in October 2014.
