JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Investment company PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk (SRTG), owned by Sandiaga S Uno and Edwin Soeryadjaya, allocates US$100 million, equivalent Rp1.3 trillion, to fund the acquisition of 8-10 companies engaging in consumer business.
That target companies engage in food and beverage, financial services, consumer products, and lifestyle. Currently, SRTG has more than 50% portfolio business in infrastructure sector. The rest portfolios are natural resources and consumer business segments.
SRTG booked profit attributable to equity of Rp803 billion in 2014, jumped 226.5% from Rp246 billion in 2013. Earning per share (EPS) was Rp296. Revenues rose 67.4% to Rp6.12 trillion from previous Rp3.66 trillion. Operating profit jumped 192.4% to Rp515 billion from earlier Rp176 billion.
Net profit margin was 13.1% and operating profit margin reached 8.4%. Its assets increased 0.9% to Rp16.35 trillion while liability declined 14% to Rp4.77 trillion.
