JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Plantation company PT Sampoerna Agro Tbk (SGRO) booked net profit of Rp30.44 billion in first nine months of this year, dropped 87% from Rp233.34 billion in the same period of last year.
Its sales fell 33% to Rp1.44 trillion from previous Rp2.15 trillion. Sales of crude palm oil and palm kernel reached Rp1.34 trillion, declined from Rp2.07 trillion a year earlier.
Sales to PT Sinar Alam Permai reached Rp268 billion, PT Royal Industries Indonesia Rp155.56 billion, and Cargill International Trading Pte Ltd Rp126.4 billion.
Cost of sales reached Rp1.19 trillion. Operating profit was Rp90.69 billion, compared to previous Rp363.04 billion.
Its assets totaled Rp4.24 trillion while liability amounted Rp1.63 trillion.
