JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Rudi Rubiandini, dismissed head of SKKMigas, went on trial on Tuesday (January 7th) for his alleged role in a briber case involving some companies.
Rudi is accused of accepting SGD200,000 and US$900,000 from Kernel Oil, Singapore, through Rudi’s golf trainer Deviardi.
The court has previously sentenced three years jail for Simon Gunawan, executive of Kernel Oil, in the case.
Deviardi once testified before the court that he received money from various parties, including SKKMigas officials, Parna Raya Group (controlled by Simbolon family), and Febri Prasetyadi (consultant of PT Surya Esa Perkasa Tbk, controlled by Boy Garibaldi Thohir and TP Rahmat).
Deviardi insisted of accepting US$700,000 from Febri in Singapore.
