SYDNEY (Yosefardi) – Robust Resources Limited is undertaking a scoping study into development options for the Lakuwahi Deposit, in Romang island, Indonesia.

The scoping study will be completed in early 2014, then Robust will undertake a feasibility study for the high-grade manganese deposits.

On 7th November 2013, Robust announced an initial JORC (2012) Mineral Resources Estimate of near-surface high-grade Manganese deposits at Lakuwahi by independent consultants (Mining Associated Pty Ltd).

MA estimated the high-grade manganese Inferred Mineral Resources to be 566,000t at 42.5% Mn for a total of 238,000t of Mn metal. The resources is contained in two deposits, Manganese Valley and Batu Hitam West.

For the calendar year 2013, the Company completed 103 high‐quality HQ and NQ diamond drill holes for 13,194.5 metres. Drilling activity was significantly stepped up in the second half of the year.

In the six months to 31 December 2013, a total of 64 diamond drill holes for 8,844.75 metres were completed which was a record for the company. Up to 8 drill rigs were active at any one time. Assay results were received for 5,942 samples.

The target of the drilling program was multifaceted as the scope of the Romang island project expanded to include oxide, suplhide and manganese resources.
