JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Robertus Bilitea, member of commissioner board of Deposit Insurance Agency (LPS), has been appointed acting executive chief of the agency.
Mr Bilitea, former director of law of Indonesia Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA), replaces Mirza Adityaswara, who has been sworn in as senior deputy governor of Bank Indonesia.
After the closure of IBRA, Mr Bilitea established a law firm called Radjiman Bilitea & Partners. He started his career at the Jakarta Legal Aid Institution (LBH Jakarta) before joining SOemarjono, Herman & Partner law office and later on Makarim & Taira Supit Law Firm.
Born in Flores, East Nusa Tenggara province, Mr Bilitea graduated from the Law School of Krisnadwipayana University in 1990.
