KUALA LUMPUR (Yosefardi) – PT Rig Tenders Indonesia (RIGS) Tbk, subsidiary of Scomi Energy Services Berhad, has won a contract from Coastal Energy Company (CEC) in Thailand for the provision of a 60 MT bollard pull AHTS.
The contract, valued approximately RM22 million for two years, commenced late last month. Under the contract, Rig Tenders, listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), will provide anchor handling, towing, and supply (AHTS) run for CEC’s offshore installation.
Scomi Energy Services fleet of vessels currently stands at a total of 82 vessels comprising 42 Tugs, 29 Barges, six Utillity Vessels, three Anchor Handling Tug & Supply Vessels and two Accommodation Barges.
In addition to offshore support services, Scomi Energy Services’ core business activity is in oilfield services, production enhancement and marine logistics, in the oil & gas and coal industries.
