SINGAPORE (Yosefardi.com) – Ramba Energy Limited has commenced drilling of the Akatara-2 appraisal well – the third exploration well to be drilled at the Lemang block (South Sumatera) – with spud in occurring at 1700 hours on 12 June 2013.
The Akatara-2 well will have a total depth of 6,560 feet true vertical depth, or 7,500 feet measured depth. The Akatara-2 well is targeting the Intra Gumai Sand Formation, Upper Talang Akar Formation, Lower Talang Akar Formation, and the Crystalline Basement.
The Company expects drilling operations to take approximately 26 days, with possible testing to be completed later this year, subject to smaller rig availability.
