JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Retailer PT Ramayana Lestari Tbk (RALS) booked sales of Rp500 billion in January 2014, grew 17% compared to January 2012, supported by the sales in early month of January and 10% same store sales growth (SAME). The company said the flood only impacted less and shorterm to the company’s sales.
RALS expects to book sales of Rp8.9 trillion last year, grew by 10% compared to target of Rp8.05 trillion. It allocates capital expenditure (capex) of Rp400 billion for this year, to fund the expansion of outlets.
It plans to open 6 outlets this year, a slow expansion amid the uncertainty of economic outlook due to the political agenda such as election. RALS targets to book sales of Rp8.9 trillion, grew by 10% from Rp8.05 trillion last year.
