JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Shares of cement producers listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) continued their rally Monday (March 17).

Semen Indonesia (SMGR), the largest cement producer, gained 6.72% to Rp17075 with over 28 million shares exchanged hands.

Second largest Indocement (INTP) also advanced 3.65% to Rp24875 with 6.5 million shares traded, while Holcim Indonesia (SMCB) gained 1.97% to Rp2845 with almost 9 million shares exchanged hands.

These stocks surged last Friday from the so-called Jokowi Effect, expecting faster development in infrastructure and construction.
