JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State plantation firm PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) VI, based in Jambi (West Sumatera), booked net profit of Rp62.43 billion in 2013, dropped 57% from Rp144.88 billion in 2012.
Commodity sales increased 6.5% to Rp2.34 trillion from previous Rp2.19 trillion while cost of goods sold rose 7.6% to Rp1.88 trillion from earlier Rp1.75 trillion.
Operating expense also rose 43% to Rp338.19 billion, then operating profit was Rp121.83 billion, dropped 43% from Rp213.94 billion in 2012.
Its assets rose 7.8% to Rp2.35 trillion while liability increased 10.7% to Rp1.38 trillion. It has cash of Rp249.74 billion.
