JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State plantation firm PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) V booked net profit of Rp130.38 billion in 2013, dropped 58% from Rp312.28 billion in 2012.

Revenue declined 1% to Rp4.97 trillion from previous Rp5.02 trillion. Net sales of palm products reached Rp4.64 billion, compared to Rp4.65 trillion in 2012.

Cost of goods sold totaled Rp4.37 trillion, then gross profit was Rp600 billion. The company also booked profit of Rp687 billion from associated companies, lower than Rp939 billion in 2012.

Its assets totaled Rp5.19 trillion while liability amounted Rp3.29 trillion. It has cash and cash equivalent of Rp446 billion.
