JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Prudential Life Assurance (Prudential Indonesia) booked new business premium income of Rp5.9 trillion in first half of this year, grew by 32% compared to the same period of last year.
Premium income totaled Rp11.8 trillion while its assets increased 31% to Rp46.5 trillion. As of June 2013, the company’s claims payment totaled Rp4.7 trillion.
During the first quarter of this year, Prudential Indonesia launched PRUlink Indonesia Greater China Equity Fund, PRUaman and PRUaccess.
As at 31 March 2013, Prudential Indonesia maintains a head office in Jakarta and sales offices in Medan, Surabaya, Bandung, Denpasar, Batam and Semarang, with 310 agency offices (including Jakarta, Surabaya, Medan, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Batam and Bali) across the archipelago. As at 31 March 2013, Prudential Indonesia has more than 1.8 million customers.
