JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Provident Capital Indonesia, main shareholder of tower operator PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG), has in November 12, 2014 divested 168 million TBIG shares at price of Rp8750 per share, or Rp1.47 trillion in total.
As at September 2014, Provident Capital Indonesia holds 28.75% TBIG shares and PT Wahana Anugerah Sejahtera owns 30.08%. Public investors hold the rest 41.17%. TOWR is controlled by tycoon Edwin Soeryadjaya.
TBIG booked net profit of Rp1.2 trillion in third quarter of 2014, grew by 33.4% from the same period of 2013. While revenues rose 24.4% to US$2.43 trillion. Its assets totaled Rp21.3 trillion while liability amounted Rp16.9 trillion.
