JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The prosecutor team has demanded panel of judges at the Bandung District Court to drop 20 years jail term to Andianto Setiabudi, the owner of Cipaganti Group, for an alleged embezzlement case.
In addition, the prosecutor team also demanded panel of judges to order Andianto to pay Rp200 billion in fine.
The prosecutor team, moreover, also demanded similar punishment for three other suspects in the case. They are Julia Sri Redjeki, Yulianda Tjendrawati Setiawan and Cece Kadarisman.
Cipaganti’s customers that attending the trial, meanwhile, expressed their angers to the four suspects. They also shouted to Andianto to returning their funds.
Previously, Andianto along with three other suspects in the case were said to be responsible for embezzling the funds and equity collected from the public by the Cipaganti Karya Guna Persada Cooperatives. The cooperatives, through April 2014, had enlisted 8.378 clients in the profit-sharing program, each contributing a minimum of Rp100 million. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
