JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – On Monday (July 29), property shares ended mostly lower on broad market sentiment. But this morning the stocks regained ground with sentiment in sector boosted by positive results for first half of this year.

Bumi Serpong Damai (BSDE) gained 1.29% as it reported net profit of Rp1.64 trillion in first half of this year, surged 178% from Rp588.38 billion in the same period of last year. Revenues jumped 81% to Rp2.89 trillion.

Pakuwon Jati (PWON) advanced further by 1.32% as the property developer reported net profit of Rp635 per share. It posted around 50% growth in revenues to Rp1.54 trillion, mostly due to strong sales of condominium and offices.

While Agung Podomoro jumped 3.1%, Alam Sutera rose 1.4%, and Lippo Karawaci gained 1.53%. Ciputra Property Surya surged 4.55%, Ciputra Property hiked 3.1% and Ciputra Development increased 0.84%. Modernland Realty also gained 1.15%.

Metropolitan Land (MTLA) also reported strong first half results with net profit of Rp106.5 billion, grew 31% from the corresponding period of 2012. The stock gained 1% this morning.

Duta Pertiwi (DUTI) booked net profit of Rp332 billion in first half of this year, a 26% growth compared to Rp264 billion in the corresponding period of 2012. Operating income increased to Rp760 billion from previous Rp709 billion.
