JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Investors focused buying property stocks on Wednesday as they respond positively the cut of benchmark BI Rate by 25 basis points to 7.5%.
Overall market sentiment is also boosted by the President’s decision to cancel the swearing in of Budi Gunawan as new Police Chief.
Alam Sutera jumped 5.56% to Rp665 with over 316 million shares exchanged hands, far high compared to its average volume of over 110 million for past three months.
Pakuwon Jati also surged 6.34% to Rp520 with over 226 million shares traded. Its average volume for past three months reaches 110.39 million.
Bumi Serpong Damai gained 5.2% to Rp2,125 with over 110 million shares exchanged hands.
Sentul City hiked 6.61% to Rp129 with over 297.67 million shares exchanged hands. Bumi Serpong Damai lifted 4.95% to Rp2,120 with trading volume of over 106.79 million.
Lippo Karawaci climbed 4.48% to Rp1,165 with over 307 million shares exchanged hands. Its average volume in past three months reaches over 94 million shares.
While Moderland Realty gained 5.77% to Rp550 and Ciputra Development rose 5.6% to Rp1,505, with trading volume of over 30 million and 46 million shares respectively.
Year to date, Alam Sutera has gained 14.6%, Bumi Serpong gained 14%, Sentul City gained 16%, Lippo Karawaci gained 13%, Ciputra Development gained 13.6%, and Moderland gained 13.6%. While Pakuwon Jati declined 4.6% year to date.
