JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) declined 0.17% to 5197 at 9.29 am Jakarta time as profit taking hit some stocks. The index opened in green this morning but some investors opted to sell the stocks after recent gains.
Profit taking hits some blue chip stocks such as Adaro Energy, Astra International, Bank Rakyat Indonsia, Bank Negara Indonesia, and Telkom.
The Constitutional Court (MK) as the last resort of the law has Thursday (August 21) decided to entirely reject Prabowo-Hatta’s plea on the presidential election dispute. Investors and business players needs the certainty of law enforcement as they would boost their investments in Indonesia.

Nymex’s crude oil inched down 0.07% to US$93.98 per barrel in Asian trading this morning while gold increased 0.27% to US$1,278.90 per ounce.
