JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) has yet to name the successor of outgoing Gita Wirjawan as new minister of trade.
SBY had received the resignation letter tendered by Gita on Jan. 31, 2014. Thus, SBY is now facing many pressures from politicians and lawmakers.
“This is another example about how slow and indecisive is the president,” said political observer Heri Budianto.
Previously, lawmakers at the House of Representatives (DPR) also suggested the president to soon appoint new Minister of Trade as SBY’s term will end next 8 months. (haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
