JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), also Chairman of Democratic Party, has set a plan to take official leave from office, or off day, to join on its campaign series for the Legislative Election.

Minister of State Secretary Sudi Silalahi has Wednesday (March 12) confirmed that the president will not take office on 17-18 March, 2014 as the president will join on the campaign in Magelang (Central Java) and Bantul (Yogyakarta).

President SBY’s spokesperson Julian Aldrin Pasha added the president has mandated Vice President Boediono to take over the presidential duties.

Actually, the State Palace previously had revealed the president would participate on campaign for his party’s cadres at the weekend.

Other than the president, five other Democratic Party leaders in SBY’s Cabinet will also take their official leaves. They are;

1) Minister of Law & Human Rights Amir Syamsuddin
2) Minister of Energy & Mineral Resources Jero Wacik
3) Minister of Youth & Sports Roy Suryo
4) Minister of Cooepratives & Small-Medium Enterprises Syarif Hasan
5) Minister of Transportation EE Mangindaan

Other ministers, out of Democrat Party’s members, will also take their official days off from office. They are;

1) Coordinating Minister for Economy Hatta Rajasa (Chairman of PAN)
2) Minister of Forestry Zulkifli Hasan (PAN politician)
3) Minister of Agriculture Suswono PKS politician
4) Minister of Communication & Transportation Tifatul Sembiring (PKS politician)
5) Coordinating Minister for People’s Welfare Agung Laksono (Golkar politician)
6) Minister of Manpower & Transmigration Muhaimin Iskandar (Chairman of PKB)
7) Minister of Religious Affairs Suryadharma Ali (Chairman of PPP)
