JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – General (ret) Pramono Edhie Wibowo, brother-in-law of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) is ready to purse the “success” of SBY if he is elected as new president.
Pramono has been long rumoured to be presidential candidate from Democratic Party.
“I will purse what pak SBY has been implementing (during his 10 years administration),” Pramono said in a press conference over the weekend.
Pramono also stated that he will rebuild the Democratic Party as the big political party loved by the people in the country.
Pramono is one strongest contestant of the Democratic Party’s primary but he still compete with another 10 contestants to win the presidential ticket from the party.
Pramono currently serves as member of Democratic Party’s Advisory Council. Prior to his retirement mandatory age from the military, he was the Army Chief of Staff (KSAD). (haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
