JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The National Police’s Criminal Investigation Division (Bareksrim POLRI) is expected to question the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of state port operator company PT Pelindo II Richard Joost (RJ) Lino in an examination session on next Monday (Nov. 9).
The Chief of the Bareskrim Comr. Gen. Anang Iskandar, as quoted by Kompas.com this afternoon (Nov. 6), said Lino will be questioned as a witness in corruption allegation of the Pelindo II’s 10 mobile cranes procurement worth Rp35 billion.
That said, there is no confirmation yet on whether or not Lino will answer the Bareskrim’s summon.
The Bareskrim has investigated the case since August 2015. Pelindo II’s technical director Ferialdy Noerlan has been named as suspect in the case.
In the meantime, the House of Representatives (DPR) also established a special committee on investigating corruption allegations in Pelindo II, including the mobile cranes procurement case. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
