JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Denpasar Police office in Bali province has named Agus as suspect in the murder of eight-year-old girl Angeline.
The Chief of the Denpasar Police office Sr. Comr. Anak Agung Sudana said the suspect works as a housekeeper at the house of Margareith Megawe, Angeline’s adoptive mother.
According to Agung, the Police also suspected Agus for committing sexual violence before murdering the victim.
While Siti Sapurah, the lawyer of Angeline’s biological mother from the P2TP2A Denpasar, revealed that the suspect has admitted to the police for raping Angeline.
Other than Agus, the Police has still questioned six other people, including Margareith Megawe, for possibility involvement in the murder.
The murder case of Angeline itself is now under the public spotlight following the found of Angeline’s death body buried in the backyard of her adoptive mother’s residence, Wednesday (June 10). According to the Police, Angeline was murdered three weeks ago, or a week after she was reportedly missing. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
